Nomadic bio-ethanol fireplaces on M6
Today, in the programme Bien chez soi, broadcast on M6, we talk about bio-ethanol fireplaces.
Sophie Ferjani presents two nomadic bio-ethanol fireplaces sold by Wikao.
These are the Aquila and Etnica freestanding models.
The Aquila free-standing fireplace
The Aquila free-standing fireplace consists of :
- A white base with a built-in burner. The burner is protected at the front and rear by 2 tempered glass panes
- A round black structure above the white base, approximately 55 cm high, 60 cm wide and 20 cm deep
The burner that equips this fireplace has the following characteristics:
- Capacity: 1.5 litres
- Power rating: 3 kW
- Consumption: 0.40 litres per hour
- Autonomy (at full opening) (approx.): 3h45
- Burner quality: Single wall
This designer black and white bio-ethanol fireplace is one of the so-called "nomadic" fireplaces.
Obviously, you can't move this fireplace when there's bio-ethanol in the burner, and even less so when it's lit. But unlike other models, you can move the Aquila fireplace as you wish (into your living room, into a dining room, etc.)
What's more, as this Aquila bio-ethanol fireplace is perforated on both sides, you can place it next to a wall or in the middle of a room.
The Etnica free-standing fireplace
Although it appears very briefly on the left of the screen in the programme Mieux chez soi, the Etnica freestanding fireplace is one of the historic models from Wikao and one of the best-selling.
Its unstructured steel basket gives it a very designer look.
The burner used in this model is the same as that used in the Aquila fireplace. It has the following characteristics:
- Capacity: 1.5 litres
- Power rating: 3 kW
- Consumption: 0.40 litres per hour
- Autonomy (at full opening) (approx.): 3h45
- Burner quality: single-walled
Like the Aquila model, the Etnica bio-ethanol fireplace is a "nomadic" free-standing fireplace.
What's more, because of its dimensions (25 cm high, 36.7 cm wide and 20 cm deep) and its weight of 6 kg, you can easily place this bio-ethanol fireplace on a piece of furniture or a table.
