Calligraphy and flowers on a blackboard

This square painting incorporates relatively few elements. That doesn't mean it's poor or unfinished. There is a flower with black petals and white pistils. It tops a stem, which crosses two others to form the letter "H". A few other elements - part plant, part calligraphy - form an abstraction of nature and the different forms it can take.
