Table-top ethanol fireplaces have the advantage of being compact and therefore more mobile than their floor-standing counterparts.

Will my furniture heat up with a table-top ethanol fireplace?

Generally speaking, the heat goes mainly upwards, so the heating below the fireplace is relatively modest. They can therefore be placed on all types of furniture, or even on the floor.


However, when using them for the first time, particular attention should be paid to the heat on the furniture and, if necessary, protection under the hearth may be required.
